Our Sock Story

We love to thrive in the great outdoors, and we never miss hiking Mt. Monadnock, our namesake and most treasured landmark, especially in autumn when the trails are ablaze in shades of crimson and gold.  When we reach the top we take a look around and find it easy to plot our next adventure, no matter the season.  From gliding down snowy trails to swimming, boating or fishing in our lovely ponds, lakes, and rivers or discovering our new favorite hike, we developed these one of a kind socks to be an important part of our journey.

We know they'll be an important part of yours, too. We designed and rigorously tested these socks right here in the Monadnock region with one common goal: to be the most comfortable, durable and best performing socks you've ever had.

How'd we do it?  Well, we've only just begun, but we used only the best merino wool which doesn't itch, shrink, or irritate your feet under the most active conditions.  

​

We then removed all seams from the toe, and incorporated a Y-gore heel which keeps the socks in place and prevents blisters. We truly believe these socks will be the first pair you grab from the sock drawer, and you'll know you're wearing socks with superior moisture regulating properties, which you can wear in any season.
